I think what is so sad is that Rose and Jack spent little time on what they had on the ship Titanic and they met and fell in love and Jack saved Rose and Rose in return saved Jack. They both were soulmates and in love with each other b/c Jack treated her like a real human being were as Cal and her Mother Ruth treated Rose like an object and she managed to live her life and made good on her promise. I always wondered after the death of Titanic and Jack dying what if Rose was pregant and she did have a child. I am sure she would have told her children about Jack Dawson and She changed her name from Rose Dewitt Bukater to Dawson Calvert so her family wouldn't find her. She didnt' want to marry Cal Hockley and he died of suicide bc he lost all of his millions during the great depression. Ruth went broke. In the end Rose lived her life and went back to Titanic and met with Jack who was waiting for her.

This movie had the worse possible ending. Instead of Clyde killing the lawyer who totally sold him out and deserved punishment, it was the ‘victim’ Clyde himself who got killed by Nick. I was left thinking ‘So there is no justice after all.’ This ruined the whole movie in my mind as the man who should have gotten his just desserts never did. Shameful

I was so glad that Katherine Goble was Awarded the Medal of Freedom! I think those ladies deserve that award. It said a lot when John Glenn wanted Katherine to double check the numbers!
